I have had a headache since Monday. I am not sure if the change of pressure is affecting me, or if I am just getting a cold. Either way, when I was trying to dress myself on Tuesday - half asleep, with a lovely headache - I went for a simple, no-thinking-required look. On Wednesday night I took a 4-hour course on general dog grooming. I learned how to clean Scooter’s ears properly and about more effective brushing techniques (among other things). However, the biggest surprise of the night was the lesson on anal gland expression (um, what????). I have to plead complete ignorance and admit I never knew there was such a thing as anal glands, let alone that I as a dog owner might need to “express” them. Needless to say, I think I will put “anal gland expression” on Kevin’s list of “man jobs” :)
